Safaricom Home Fibre is a service that allows you to have fast, reliable and unlimited internet access from the comfort of your home. These are just but examples of how we stay connected from the comfort of our spaces without giving much thought to our location. All one has to do is register and then you are given a WiFi router that will enable you to have wireless and LAN internet access.

Safaricom Home Fibre packages

Safaricom Home Fibre has two types of plans, each with four packages categorized based on speed, features and prices.

1. Safaricom Home Fibre: Offers internet only.
   • Bronze package
   • Silver package
   • Gold package
   • Diamond package
2. Safaricom Home Fibre Plus: Offers internet, mobile calls, mobile data and SMS.
   • Bronze Plus package
   • Silver Plus package
   • Gold Plus package
   • Diamond Plus package

Note: All the packages have a validity period of 30 days and a fee of Ksh 3,000 applies for new connection.

What is Safaricom Home Fibre Plus?

Safaricom Home Fibre Plus is a service that allows you to get mobile data bundles, voice minutes and SMS together with your Home Fibre package. To get this, select your preferred Home Fibre Plus package when making payment and for an additional Ksh 1,000, you receive 5GB + 400 Minutes + Unlimited SMS together with the Fibre plan.

What is Fair Usage Policy?

Fair Usage Policy is a rule put in place to ensure all customers enjoy a great experience on their connection. The policy reduces the speeds of a customer with high usage to allow other customers on the shared connection a fair chance to also enjoy great speeds. The applicable limits for Fair Usage are as below, upon which speeds are reduced as indicated until your next renewal. You can also choose to upgrade at any time to get full speeds of the selected package. 

What is Secure Net?

Secure Net is a service that ensures you have control over what is accessed on your Home Internet connectivity. This service offers protection against security threats such as viruses as well as allowing you to control what is accessed on your connection and when the internet can be used. You do not need to download or install anything in order to use the service, it is provided over the Safaricom Network.
