Uber considers safety of drivers and riders as one of the pillars of their services. To assure safety is maintained at all time, Uber have introduced various actions which provide safety to both driver-partners and riders. One of these actions is requiring all driver-partners to pass a screening session.
Uber Kenya safety screening procedure
Follow the following steps to complete your profile, but make sure your PSV license has been approved before continuing with this process.
a. Upload your documents
Upload your valid PSV License and National Identity card. Only after all documents has been approved by Uber, will you receive an SMS to schedule a screening check. You can upload your documents here.
b. Book your screening check
Book your screening check and ensure you present the following documents at the screening check.
- Certificate of Good Conduct
- National ID
- Driver’s License
- PSV Driving License
c. Results
It takes 5-7 business days to get back the results of the screening. If the driver has passed the screening, the partner and driver shall receive a text message that the driver passed and that the driver is now active. If the driver-partner fails the screening, Uber will unfortunately not be able to partner with the individual.

a. Trendset Agencies Ltd
The cost of the screening check is Ksh 2,000 and should be paid for in cash/Mpesa at Castor Vali.

b. Peleza Services Ltd
The cost of the screening check will be Ksh 2,000 and should be paid for in cash/Mpesa at the Peleza office.
- Suite 307, 3rd Floor Reliance Centre (The building with KFC Westlands), Woodvale Grove, Westlands, Nairobi.
c. Arope Group Ltd
The cost of the screening check will be Ksh 2,000 and should be paid for in cash/Mpesa at the Arope Group Limited office.
