Since 2001 when Bob Johnson made a grand entry to the club, thereby becoming the first black billionaire, and subsequently opened doors for other potential black people, the list has kept on growing each year. Oprah Winfrey reassured the world, that black people and in particular black women can also be ranked among other 3-comma colonizers when she slipped into the list in 2003, to the dismay of the entire world. Since then, the list has continued to grow, to accommodate more black people.
