In a partnership between Safaricom and Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE), Safaricom users can use their Bonga Points to invest in stocks at the NSE. This partnership seeks to give Safaricom users and retail investors more value and utility for their Bonga Points while creating more avenues to paricipate in the NSE and drive economic empowerment. Users accumulate a point for every Ksh 10 spent on voice, data, SMS and M-Pesa charges, and can redeem their Bonga Points through licensed trading participants. Safaricom users can redeem their points at a rate of Ksh 1 for every 5 points.
