People don’t adopt children for the sake of adopting, they have their own reasons why. When a person walks into one of the adoption agencies, to start the adoption process, they have made a personal decision and have a unique reason as to why they want to adopt a child. The biggest hurdle that most potential adoptive parents face is lack of information; from the requirements, prerequisites, consents, actual adoption process, down to the cost and even duration the whole process takes.

Some communities/people have beliefs that prevent them from having children of their own because of certain reasons.
