Fuliza M-Pesa is an overdraft facility that was launched by Safaricom in partnership with NCBA Bank. This is a service that allows Mpesa customers to complete their Mpesa transactions when they have insufficient funds in their Mpesa account. There are those times you may have a Fuliza, but you do not have the time/money to buy an actual scratch card or you do not have any money on your Mpesa account to buy airtime or already have a Fuliza overdraft.
Here are ways you can buy airtime using Fuliza.
To buy airtime using Fuliza via Tupay technology, follow these steps.
- Go to the M-Pesa menu
- Select the ‘Pay Bill’ option
- Enter ‘737373’ as the business number
- Enter your mobile number as the account number
- Enter the amount of airtime you wish to buy
- Enter your PIN number and click ‘Send’
- Choose option 1 to Fuliza to pay for the transactions
2. Pesapal
To buy airtime using Fuliza via Pesapal, follow these steps.
- Go to the M-Pesa menu
- Select the ‘Pay Bill’ option
- Enter ‘220220’ as the business number
- Enter your mobile number as the account number
- Enter the amount of airtime you wish to buy
- Enter your PIN number and click ‘Send’
- Choose option 1 to Fuliza to pay for the transactions
